The Cracow Embroidery

In most cases it has been made with a use of silver or golden threat, however, yellow, green, blue and claret silk threats have also been used. It is mainly inspired by plant motives having naturalistic or stylized forms. A characteristic feature of that embroidery was a wide range of combining many compositions and motives made with a help of varied techniques, colours and ornaments. All that has additionally highlited its rich and specific embroidery in its form.
