Its originality pattern should be owed to the land where it was born. The source of that embroidery is the art of elite layers. Such embroidery has firstly decorated bonnets referred to the cloth of gold. Patterns inspired by flowers were only made with a help of golden and silver threats and all that was to underline pattern’s richness and originality. Then such embroidery was made with a use of coloured threats and haberdasheries, where the linking element of patterns inspired by flowers was a colouristic composition based on seven colours. Two of these: blue and green are dominating ones and others such as red, yellow and black are to highlight and accent beauty or applique’s extraordinary nature. You can find motives of pansies, cornflowers, bellflowers, carnations, clovers, lilies, forget-me-nots and roses.
